It starts with a door that should have stayed shut. A keycard mix-up lets you into room 742 while a stranger is still inside, and you decide not to leave. When his wife turns up at the door, she acts as though she expected you all along.
The reveal, as Candy frames it, is that the mix-up was her doing. She chose you herself, and rather than sending you away, she wants to stay and watch.
