Candy AI Shorts is free for episodes 1 and 2; for the rest you need Premium, which costs $3.99 a month on the 12-month plan (billed $47.88), $8.99 a month on the 3-month plan ($26.97) or $13.99 for one month, as of September 2026. Every plan includes 100 tokens a month and a locked episode costs 12 tokens (30 on creator series), so a typical five-episode series takes 36 tokens to finish and a creator series 90.

Candy doesn’t show a Premium Plus price on its public plans page, so we can’t say what a Plus token costs, and we don’t guess. For Shorts alone it matters only if you watch more than 100 tokens’ worth a month: 330 tokens would cover two 15-episode series like YES MA'AM in a single month.

Our method: divide a plan’s monthly price by the 100 tokens it includes, and you get what one token costs you; multiply by an episode’s token price. It’s an allocation, not a bill: Candy charges for the plan, not per episode.

Per minute? Candy doesn’t publish episode runtimes, so a price per minute would be a guess, and we don’t publish guesses. All Candy says about length is that episodes run roughly one to three minutes.

The pattern: for one five-episode series, the 1-month plan is the smallest bill; for the longest series, the 12-month plan is the smallest bill and the lowest token price at the same time. Anything in between depends on how many series you plan to finish.

Finishing every public series would take 5,658 tokens: 57 months of Premium tokens, or 18 on Premium Plus. At the 12-month plan’s token price that’s $225.75 of tokens. Nobody needs to binge everything, but it shows why picking your series matters more than picking your plan.
Candy also sells tokens on top of the monthly allowance, in its token shop. Bundle prices change and we haven’t verified the current ones, so they aren’t in our calculator: check them in your account before you buy. Premium Plus members on quarterly or yearly plans get bonus tokens on top-ups, per Candy’s help center.
For Shorts alone, waiting for next month’s 100 tokens is the cheapest option if you’re not in a hurry, since your tokens stay on your account.

Candy lists credit/debit cards, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer, depending on location. PayPal and gift cards aren’t on its list. According to Candy’s help center the charge shows up as “EverAI”, and the FAQ on candy.ai calls it a neutral merchant name. Additional local taxes may apply. On candy.ai a locked episode costs 12 tokens on 111 series and 30 tokens on the 7 Candy Creators series; the free episodes cost nothing. Finishing a typical five-episode series takes 36 tokens, a creator series 90, and the longest, My bestie betrayed me with 34 episodes, 384.
About two standard five-episode series: 2 × 36 = 72 tokens, leaving 28, enough for 2 more locked episodes. Or one creator series (90 tokens) with 10 to spare. In all, 113 of the 118 series can be finished with a single month’s tokens.
Premium Plus is Candy’s higher tier. According to Candy’s help center it includes 330 tokens a month instead of 100, plus Live Action, New Experiences and live audio, bonus tokens on top-ups (quarterly and yearly plans), early access to new characters and extra chat features. Its price isn’t shown on the public plans page, so we don’t quote one.
Yes. Candy’s plans renew automatically for the same price and term until you cancel. To stop the renewal, go to My Profile, then Settings, then Unsubscribe; there’s no pause option. Candy’s help center says you keep your tokens and unlocked content after cancelling.
Only in a narrow window. Candy’s help center says refunds can be requested within 24 hours of payment, only if you’ve used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments. Unlocking two standard episodes (24 tokens) or one creator episode (30 tokens) already takes you past that limit, so watch the free episodes before you pay.
Yes, according to Candy’s help center: cancelling stops the renewal, but you keep the tokens and the content you already have. There’s no option to pause a plan, so if you want a break, cancel and subscribe again later.

The 12-month plan ($47.88 a year) has the lowest token price. Episodes 1-2 of every series stay free either way.
